The next call for applications for the Erasmus+ Scholarship will open in the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.

The Department of Environmental Science, under the School of Environment and Life Sciences, announces the Erasmus + Scholarship for the 2024/2025 academic year to staff and students of C. K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences.
It is a scholarship opportunity meant for 2 PhD students to travel to Germany under the Erasmus+ programme for the 2023-2026 window.
The Scholarships are within an Agreement of Cooperation signed between Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, Germany and C. K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo, Ghana in 2022.

According to the Erasmus+ Coordinator of the University, Prof. Melvin-Guy Adonadaga, this scholarship covers airfare and monthly living allowance for between 3 to 5 months to give the students access to state-of-the-art laboratory equipment to perform aspects of the analysis towards their research works.
This is the second time the Department has benefitted from the Erasmus+ programme for the exchange of students and staff.
Under the 2019-2022 window, five students (2 PhD and 3 MPhil) travelled to Germany while one Scholar and Researcher came to CKT-UTAS for two weeks and delivered lectures on wastewater treatment in rural areas.
